libldap-2.4-2 software package provides OpenLDAP libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libldap-2.4-2
libldap-2.4-2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libldap-2.4-2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libldap-2.4-2 *
You will get with libldap-2.4-2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
